Audition for "The North Platte Canteen"
May 20-21

Step aboard the train to an unforgettable era of American spirit in The North Platte Canteen, the uplifting new musical by Sue Fabisch Errico & Johnny Rodgers.  This glorious true story brings to life the extraordinary WWII-era North Platte Canteen in Nebraska, where ordinary townsfolk—led by one young woman's selfless ambition—rallied to greet and nourish millions of weary servicemen passing through on troop trains, offering homemade sandwiches, coffee, smiles, and unbreakable kindness during a time of global crisis.

With a stirring score that blends the irresistible swing of the 1940s with heartfelt, contemporary musical theater energy—(think recent hits like Come From Away)—the show bursts with toe-tapping rhythms, tender ballads, and joyous ensemble numbers that capture human connection.

You'll leave audiences deeply moved by a timeless message of everyday compassion, and motivated to spread a little more kindness i their lives. Contemplate for awhile that even in the darkest hours, a simple act of generosity can create miracles and unite us all.

Be part of the West Coast premier of a brand new Broadway-bound show!
